uni re-registration

got back from prasmul @ 5PM.. nothing special if it's not because i've been there since 1PM... just for some registration stuff that you could actually do online...
but i guess it's worth the time spent. i get to know some new people, meet up with some old friends, and get some idea on how i may continue my things in the future...
just wish it was more.. say ... efficient?

quake in jakarta

[Quake at midnight] I'm just in the process of shutting my desktop down when my chair start jumping up and down, and the CRT monitor start shaking, and the hanging lamp in my room start some resolution...and in some second after that first wave of shock left, I just realize that there is quake in South Jakarta. I felt this quake this morning at 12:07 and I felt the second wave came at 12:08-ish. the first wave made me looking round my chair and that somewhat smaller quake a couple second after the first wave end. therefore i deduct that the quake size is somewhat between 3-4 in richter scale.immediately, i check round my room to check if anything else is indeed shaking, and shake they did.check the other room i did and yes, there's indeed a quake happened second earlier.

and after reading detik.com*gosh they realease their news without actually proofreading them sometimes-unless it's been changed, their time stated the quake happened 00:15, and their realease time is 00:12, and further more, the reported initial quake is 00:06, talk about quality jurnalism** and calling some friends and IM some more of them.. yeah, well... it's quake, and thank god nobody i know get hurts. probably it's just some underwater shallow water quake*unless there's more report of where the quake cam from)...
