PMC loadout

It's been a while since I last blogged here... Been busy tweeting in twitter.com/pratama :D

Anyway, since then, I've restarted doing airsoft. And nowadays I'm mostly playing with ARCAT and PMC. While we already set the ARCAT basic loadout, the PMC don't really have any kind of basic loadout req's. So for my convenience I'll list my wishlist.

For desert / urban ops :
BDU: multicam bottoms, combat shirts, and a trouser/jacket
Vest: CYRE Combat chassis? Or a CIRAS vest? Either one will do I guess.
Packs: an Alice rucksack or Kifaru packs

For tropic ops :
BDU: tigerstripe top, jeans
Vest: either a CIRAS or an LBV. Anything lightweight and produce minimum/no noise on its own.
Packs: same as urban ops.

Airsofts:
rifle: main: M16 with M5 KAC RAS, replace the carry handle with a BUIS.
Carbine: M4 with a VLTOR CASV and Crane Stock.
Bring an ACOG TA031A and or a Aimpoint CompL-4
pistols: M1911 or MEU(SOC) late models.

I guess that's it. Now to find the muney to buy all that stuff.

proxy and the ilk...

since working in the Wisma Antara builing, I\'ve dealt with the most
troubling proxy server I ever dealt with. since I\'m just a temp and my
time is almost over, I never really have anything against it. but I felt
that Internet access should be free, regardless of where you are. And
office should not restrict the access in order to gain productivity. it is
my view that when worker spent time on the internet they are either
already finish up their work or they didn\'t done it at all... for the
later, they should be punished, but the employer shouldn\'t punish the
former just because the later did it...

thank god I still have access to my personal server...

talking about server, I\'m of a mind that I really need/want a *real*
personal server. MacMini seems to be the cheapest solution arround for a
personal colocated server. if only I could find a good cheap colocation
service in Indonesia/Asia that is... more and more I felt that there might
be a market for that kind of service... or I could just do it from my
home, set up a working DYNDNS, and be fine... but I don\'t think maxing up
the connection at home will be good idea... unless I made sure that nobody
will use it but me, but that kindda defeat the purpose of having a
webserver isn\'t it?

ARCAT Training

last sunday, I officially join yet another airsoft team. Angkasa
Readers Airsoft Team.
Acting as a PMC sniper, I use my P001 sniper rifle, a TM M4A1, and
the P8 sidearm.

calling all angels... partly updating my status.. looks like it's
getting bleak(my server status,not my life :) ... partly testing the
mail system... gonna update more as soon as I have more time (I
assure my self that I will get some "free" time ahead)

Happy new year everybody... yeah .. i know it's late, but meh.. so what... anyway, got some assignment due today, still not finishing it for some mundane reason and i think i need sleep... be back in a blast

been awhile since my last blog post, and this photo I shot yasterday kindda sum things up...
I've been a tad busy with school work, and kindda underestimate the load college could put to this young boy... lets see what i've been doing this past month, 1 20pages paper on indonesian economics, 2 10pages report waiting to be done, 4 new product development, 10 problem sets, and bunch of assorted quiz... quite a bit indeed...
anyway, i also somehow managed to squish some time to do a photo shoot this past weekend... nowaday tho, i kindda think that i might need a nother laptop just for gaming.. you know.. for those days that require less attention... just cause.. and also, i found some intresting bid in ebay worldwide, some alienware and acouple macbookpro... guess i aimed too high with those. butnonetheless...

i miss my lens.. this one is a 20mm nikkor glass.. really like color it produce. esp on films. didn't do praticulary fabulous with my D70. a good one nevertheless. been broken eversince it reach indonesia 2years ago...for a year it's still work, but since 6 months agoit decided to stop working . it's in a workshop, and still haven't heard from it in 3 weeks. hope it run well again. i miss my lens..
