new gaming rig

got a new gaming rig set-ed up. it's an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor, a gig of ram, ASUS ATI Radeon X1550 with 256MB, SATA 250GB disk, IDE 40GB disk, Windows XP sp2, Ubuntu Feisty Fawn, and a lousy old lite-on CD-RW. a couple upgrade next week will be a DVD-ROM/RW, another gig of ram, and maybe a new keyboard and mouse...

gonna do some stress test on the thing for the next couple of week :)

geesh, kindda fell like dejavu, switching back and forth from windows to linux to windows to mac and now going triple boot...

the update it self is a long overdue for my old 2002 P4 rig.
